Silk is a delicate natural fabric that can lose its luster and strength if not handled properly. Whether it’s a Kanjeevaram, Banarasi, or Paithani saree, following expert wash and storage techniques can help preserve its grace for years.

𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗸 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 – 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽-𝗯𝘆-𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲

  1. 𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗵
    Never use a washing machine. It can damage the zari and delicate weave.
  2. 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘀
    Soak stained areas gently in cold water mixed with mild shampoo or baby detergent.

    Use cold water and mild detergent. Do not soak for more than 3–5 minutes. Avoid scrubbing or twisting.

    Wrap your silk saree in a breathable fabric. Avoid plastic covers.
